Parents training
Parents participate in services in a variety of ways, including parent interviews, goal development, data collection, and regularly scheduled parent training.
During parent training, we teach basics and ABA strategies specific to your child’s treatment plan, expertly designed to work better in the home environment or when a therapist is not present. The ideal goal is for the child to maintain or generalize skills and behave in a certain way, no matter where he is or who asks him to. It takes time to fine-tune and test these strategies, but our goal is to help families implement routines and practices that will improve their collective quality of life over time.
